Bacon Wrapped Enoki Mushroom


Found this recipe on my facourite recipe website :noobcook. I pretty much like this recipe as it does not require any seasoning as the bacon itself have seasoning. Another added bonus point is that requires oven cooking only. More healthier.



Serves 2



Ingredients
200g bacon (vacuumed in a pkt)
100g enoki mushroom (ends trimmed)
olive oil

You will need
aluminium foil
toothpicks

Method

  1. Wrap each bacon slice with small handful of enoki, as tight as possibe. (small tips: you may count how many bacon slice and divide the enoki mushroomroom equally. For I had 11 slices of bacon so I divided equally 11 portions of enoki mushroom.
  2. Lay a sheet of aluminium foil on a plate and place bacon wrap on it. Brush the mushroom with some olive oil.
  3. Bake at preheated oven of 200 degree celcius for 20 mins. During the 1st 10 mins of baking, turn the bacon to the other side and continue baking for the last 10 mins. You may want to use the bacon oil to brush the mushroom. Once done, remove toothpicks before serving.
