Miso soup with Salmon

I chance upon a website that has a recipe that can cook salmon in miso soup and since there was one time i have half piece of salmon steak so why not?

I did not follow exactly on the recipe but I just lump whatever I had that can match with the soup.

Serves 2  3

Ingredients
A small bowl of dried seaweed, soak overnight or for 5 mins
1 toufu, cut into cudes
1 salmon steak, cut into about 0.5cm thick
2 spring onions  chopped
2 tbsp of miso paste
1 packet of dashi powder

Method:
  1. Bring the water in a pot to boil and dissolve dashi.
  2. Dissolve miso in a strainer with a spoon(you can get it from daiso, as they have those strainer for miso use).
  3. Add in salmon, seaweed and cook for about 2 mins.
  4. Add in tofu and cook for another 3 mins.
  5. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
You can just match it with rice or with other japanese cuisine.
