Kim Chi Fried Rice

Was kinda wondering beside bulgogi, japchae, bimbibap, ddukbokkie, wat esle is consider as korean cuisine. I try to search through wiki and was kinda curious, keen to try outkim chi fried rice. Imagine kim chi with rice, the combination must be very nice!!!

Since then, I try to research some easy to follow recipe as reference. I use some of the kim chi sauce to marinate the minced meat overnight. I am gald I like it lots.. 

Serves: two



Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 and 1/4 of cup of uncooked rice
Some minced meat - marinate overnight with 1 tablespoon of light soya and 1 tbsp of kim chi sauce
1 small pkt of kimchi - cut into small bite sized pieces
1 clove garlic- chopped
1 medium sized onion - chopped
2 stalk of spring onions - chopped

Seasoning:
2 tbsp of light soy sauce
1 tsp of sesame oil
pepper to taste

Method:-

  1. Wash rice and cook rice in rice cooker.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook two sunny sided up. Set aside.
  3. Stir fry garlic and onions till frangant.
  4. Add in minced meat and cook for about 2 mins or till the meat is almost done.
  5. Add in kimchi and mix well and stir fry for 1min. Cover and simmer 1 min.
  6. Add in cooked rice, spring onions, soy sauce and pepper. Mix well and cook for 1 min.
  7. Switch off stove and add in sesame oil and mix well.
  8. Serve the fried rice in indivdual serving plate and add the sunny side up on top of the rice.
