Curry Yong Tou Fu

Last Sunday cooked this dish as I miss the taste of curry and yong tou fu together. I have eaten quite a few times at one of the hawker place near my wrkplace area. So i decided to try out by combining some yong tou fu and jap curry together. I am gald it turns out well.

Serves 2 person

Ingredients:-

2 packets of do do brand yong tou fu

2 golden curry cudes
Half packet of hokkien flat noodles
1 brocoli - cut into florets

Method:-

  1. Scald noodles in boiling water for about 2 mins and drained. Soak in tap water.
  2. Boil some water in a pot and cook the brocoli for about 3 mins(make sure the water is sufficient to cover the brocoli. Add in dash of salt to taste.
  3. Pour away half portion of the water and add in yong tou fu ingredients except crabstick. Cook for about one min.
  4. Add in curry cudes and dissolve them and cook for about 5 mins or till it thickens.
  5. Add in crab stick and cook for 1 min and switch off the store.
  6. Drain off the water from noodles and serve in individual bowls.
  7. Serve hot with the yong tou fu and curry sauce.
This recipe is so simple and you don't require lots of seasoning since curry sauce is very flavourable enough.
